Based on the information gathered in the initial consultation, the furniture maker starts to conceptualise design ideas. This stage involves brainstorming, sketching, and exploring various design possibilities. It’s a creative process that aims to capture the essence of the client’s vision.

Once the initial design ideas are established, the furniture maker proceeds to develop detailed design plans. These plans include precise measurements, material selection, and a thorough understanding of the project’s technical aspects. The client is usually presented with design drawings or digital renderings for review and approval.

Choosing the right wood is a critical aspect of crafting bespoke wooden furniture. Clients often have a say in selecting the wood type, finish, and any special features or inlays they desire.

With approved designs and materials in hand, the furniture maker begins the manufacturing process. We work meticulously on crafting each component of the furniture piece. Handcrafted techniques, such as hand-cut joinery, veneering, marquetry, and carving, are employed to ensure precision and quality.

Once all the components are crafted, they are assembled into the final furniture piece. This stage includes applying finishes, such as varnishes or stains, to enhance the wood’s natural beauty and protect it from wear and tear.

Once the bespoke furniture is deemed ready, it is carefully packaged and delivered to the client’s location. In some cases, installation services may be provided to ensure the piece fits seamlessly into its intended space.
